A (un)lucky coincidence brings four children together, leading to an unforgettable holiday week in the city of Munich. Along the way, they meet a successful wheelchair basketball player, save a turtle’s life, chase a lost backpack through the subway network, and explore a summer street.

The children’s and young adult book „Exploring Munich“ is an initiative by the city’s Mobility Department. Each of the four stories focuses on a topic related to mobility in Munich: accessibility, safety, public transport, and the quality of public spaces. 

The book addresses important themes within the framework of Education for Sustainable Development and is ideal for use in school lessons, including substitute classes.
