Hi, this is Barbara and I heartily welcome you on my site!

As freelancing illustrator and concept artist based in Munich, Bavaria,
I have a passion for adventure, history, dancing and laughing. 

I studied history, art and communication design at the University of Munich and the University of Applied Siences in Augsburg. With my bachelor degree in graphic design and illustration I work at Die Werft,
a creative bureau that designs and stages museums and exhibitions. 

The mix of design and information has always been a great concern of mine: By creating infographics and reconstructions of historical moments I want to provide an easy and fun access to abstract facts and dates.
I love to develop stories visually creating an imaginary world with vivid characters and convincing surroundings eather for historical understanding or for the preproduction of movies and games.
